Updating the Miscellaneous Values when Switching Post Processors

Updating the Miscellaneous Values when Switching Post Processors

The Miscellaneous Values aren't always the same in each post processor, and the post processor is switched, the values don't always update.

To reset the miscellaneous values in the toolpaths after switching to a different post processor, use the Edit Common Parameters feature.

First select all the operations and right click in the Toolpath Manager. Then go down to Edit Selected Operations, and that will allow you to get to Edit Common Parameters.

In the Edit Common Parameters Window go to Misc. Values.

The Miscellaneous Values window will come up and there you can click on Set to Post Values, set the individual values as you need, and you can set the toolpaths to Automatically Set to Post Values When Posting.

Note: Using the Automatically Set to Post Values When Posting will grey out the fields and won't update them like Set to Post Values will, but it should ignore whatever values are in the fields when they are greyed out.
