Migrating Post to Mastercam 2020

Migrating Post to Mastercam 2020

This solution is for updating Post Processor to the latest version of Mastercam.

First go to File and down to Convert, and then you should be able to select the Migration Wizard.

Using the Advance Migration is the suggested method when Migrating files.

Once the File Locations option comes up, select the Migrate Shared Mastercam Files and it should fill out the source folder as the previous Mastercam shared folder and the destination as the new shared folder.

On the File Types unselect all the file types and only select the Control Definitions, Machine Definitions, and the Post Files. You can repeat this process for any other file types once the posts are migrated.

Once Versions comes up, you can proceed to Complete the Migration Process. Here you will see a breakdown of the Source and Destination folders as well as the File Types and Versions that will be updated.
