Making a Zip2Go

To make a Zip2Go you can click on the Zip2go utility  in the Quick Access Bar, or go to File and then to Zip2Go. Make sure the Mastercam file you want to send is open in Mastercam.




When the Zip2Go utility comes up, click Create. You will be prompted to save your Mastercam file if you have made changes since the last save.




Make sure the file type boxes are all checked, as shown. Then, click Finish to choose where to save the Zip2Go file.




We suggest saving the Zip2go to the Desktop, or another location you can find easily. It will be a compressed ".MCAM-CONTENT" file, which is just a special type of ZIP file for use with Mastercam. You can open this file type with 7Zip, WINRAR or other zip file explorers.




Attach the Zip2Go to an e-mail and send it to support@qtemfg.com, and include the operation you need assistance with, the function you're trying to use and the feature you're trying to use it on.
