Making a Zip2go Using Mastercam for Solidworks

This solution goes over how to make a Zip2go using Mastercam for Solidworks. The Zip2go function uses parts of Solidworks Pack and Go to zip up the Solidworks part, and then the Zip2go to zip up the associate Mastercam files, like the post processor and tool library into 1 compressed folder.

First with the Mastercam file that needs to be sent loaded, go to Toolpath Utilities in the Mastercam tab and select Zip2go Utility

When the Zip2go Utility comes up select the Machine Group being used and check the boxes next to all the File Options

It will go through saving the file, and when saves the Zip2go send it to a destination that can be easily found. The desktop is recommended, but any directory can be used. Once the Zip2go is created, attach it to an e-mail ans send it to support@qtemfg.com. Include any screenshots of alarms, the operation number that needs attention, and any other notes. If the compressed folder is too big, the website www.WeTransfer.com can be used to send the file, or someone can send a Dropbox link to have the files loaded there.
