Uninstalling Mastercam 2024

To perform and proper uninstall of Mastercam there are a few things you need to do to completely uninstall Mastercam.

First right click on the "Start" Menu and select "Settings". When the Settings options open up select "Apps" icon and go to the version of Mastercam you need, pick the 3 dots, select "Uninstall".

Now open "File Explore" and navigate to C drive, then Users, now into your login folder, and to Documents. You can delete the My Mastercam folder for the version you are uninstalling. 

Next back out to the Users folder, go to Public, and Public Documents, and delete Shared Mastercam folder.

Next go back to the C drive and go to Program Files, and delete the Mastercam files. 

With these files deleted click the Windows key and type in "reg, click the Registry Editor icon to open the Registry Editor.

In the Registry Editor and expand the "HKey_Current_User", then "SOFTWARE", and under that you'll find "CNC Software" Expand that and select the Mastercam registry you're uninstalling and delete it.

Then collapse the HKEY_CURRENT_USER, and go to the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE". Expand "SOFTWARE" and then "CNC Software". and delete the Mastercam version you're uninstalling.  Sometimes this will get deleted when you delete the HKEY_CURRENT_USER one.

Once the registries are deleted Mastercam is completely uninstalled
