Installing CIMCO Software - Edit Professional, DNC-Max, etc

Installing CIMCO Software:

Download the latest version of CIMCO Software from http://cimco.com/getdncmax (download will start automatically).

Run the installer and choose the software you wish to install with the checkboxes. If applicable, the DNC-Max Server, NC-Base Server, and Software Manager only need to be installed on the Server PC, not on Client machines.

For single-seat licenses:

Double-click the .CimcoLicense file and click "Activate license file" then "Install license file".

For network licenses:

Open CIMCO Software Manager on the PC that is to be the license server. The default file path is C:\Program Files\CIMCO 2024\Software Manager.

Click "Choose license file" and locate the .CIMCOLicense file on the PC. Then, click "Start" to start the server.

To connect clients to the server, open a CIMCO product on the client PC (Edit, DNC-Max Client, etc). It should automatically find the license, but if it doesn't click on Help -> About and then go to the License Server tab.

Input the hostname or IP address of the license server, or click the icon to search for the server.
