Installing CIMCO Probing/Verify Add-Ons for Mastercam

Installing CIMCO Probing/Verify Software:

Download the latest version of CIMCO Probing from https://www.probing.com/download
Download the latest version of CIMCO Verify from https://www.cimcoverify.com/download

If you have a networkable license, you will also need to download the Software Manager from one of those links - it is the same program on both sites. Double-click the .CimcoPPLicense file in Windows Explorer to view your license type. If "Cimco Network License Server" is a line item, you will need the Software Manager.

Close Mastercam, then run the installer(s) for Probing/Verify on the client PC(s) and install the Software Manager on the server PC (network licenses only).

CIMCO Verify and CIMCO Probing commands will be automatically added to the Mastercam ribbon on the next startup.

Licensing (single seat):
Double-click the .CimcoPPLicense file and click "Install license file".


Licensing (network):
Open CIMCO PP Software Manager on the PC that is to be the license server. The default file path is C:\Program Files (x86)\CIMCO PP\Software Manager.
Click "Choose license file" and locate the .CIMCOPPLicense file on the PC. Then, click "Start" to start the server. Once it is running, the client PCs should pick up the license automatically.
