How to mirror a part using Xform

  • With your Mastercam part file open, select the geometry you wish to mirrorMirror 1
  • Open the Xform mirror tool by going to Xform>Mirror

Mirror 2

  • With the mirror dialog box open, you have several options to choose from (I chose to copy about the Y axis)

Mirror 3Note: You also have the option to move, copy, or join entities.

Options include:

  1. Move, copy, join
  2. Mirror about the X or Y axis
  3. Mirror about an angle
  4. Mirror about a line
  5. Mirror about two points

  • Select “Ok” and verify that selected entities have been properly mirrored
